The truth about Veterinarians...


In our practice you will find that the leaders of our team are the veterinarians.  They have three main duties which include diagnosing illness, prescribing medication and performing surgery.  They are required to have a minimum of eight years of education and are licensed to practice by the state where they are located.  In the state of New Jersey, it is a requirement that all veterinarians participate in continuing education.  These credits may be obtained thru seminars or journal reading.

Dr. Dan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 1963.  He first opened the Animal Clinic of Warren in April 1969 at its former location of 53 Mountain Boulevard in Warren Township.   Dr. Dan practices all aspects of Veterinary Medicine including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine and surgery.  His 45 years of experience provides our hospital with valuable expertise.  Dr. Dan stays current with Veterinary Medicine through journals and by periodically attending continuing education lectures and seminars.
 

Dr. Donna, daughter of Dr. Dan, also attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1996.  She received her undergraduate degree from Ursinus College.  Besides "growing up" at the clinic, Dr. Donna brings over 25 years of veterinary experience and knowledge to our clinic. She practices all aspects of Veterinary Medicine including wellness and preventative care, sick care, internal medicine, radiology, dentistry and limited surgery.  She stays current with new therapies through journal articles and by attending continuing education seminars and workshops. She practices common sense medicine and will work along with you to come up with the best available treatment options for your pet. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, reading and being from NJ, she enjoys the beach.
